Google Mail (Gmail) is a very popular email platform, and it also has an autoresponder capability built in.

Whenever a message is sent to your iCloud Mail, the automatic reply is immediately generated and sent to the original sender. If you're super old-school like me, don't use your email address. Google gets stuck trying to verify the settings for the server.

Once you have your password, head back to the Gmail app and click Next, then enter your email and app-specific password (again, not your Apple ID login). Copy your new password for the next step (if you closed out of the browser, you can find the app-specific password in the list under your security settings).
